Our mission is to help thousands of homeless people to get off the streets of Britain, to have their own home, and to have a trade under their belt.
Each house of ours will be enough to accommodate 4 people. And therefore each tenant will have their own furnished room with internet connection and, the rest of the house will be shared.
All bills including; rent, council tax, gas, electric, water, TV licence, broadband internet, and even premium TV channels i.e Sky Movies, Sky Sports, etc will be paid for by our company.
Each tenant will need to sign a 3-year agreement if they want to commit to our programme. Our programme will include; sharpening up everyone’s maths and English language, and Level 2 and Level 3 trade training. Each person will also be required to be a fundraiser. Each person that joins our programme will decide which trade that they want to be qualified at doing. The training will be through a reputable trade training company. The exams and qualifications will be set out and awarded by City & Guilds.
Each candidate will choose between the following trades:
Electrician (solar energy training included)
House painter and decorator
Security officer/door supervisor
After all training has been completed and exams have been passed, each candidate will be a ‘qualified’ and ‘competent’ tradesperson, who will then be on the right track to land a job and earn at least the national average salary which is currently between £25-30k per year.
Our programme is financed by sponsors and private investors. We also set up and run fundraising events/galas, and receive donations from the general public through our street teams and online. We will have collection boxes placed inside venues very soon.
Our programme is free of charge to each and every person that we accept onto the programme. So there will be no need for those we help to pay us any money before, during or after the programme has been completed.
It may seem like it will be an easy ride, seen as it will be rent free with all other bills will be paid for, and to have a trade at the end of the programme. But it will not be as easy as it may seem. It will be very hard work, but also very rewarding for those that do not quit!
